you've got to make a choice

Audio syncing issues aside, this video local favorites Oryx and Crake made for Couch by Couch West is great for so many reasons.  For starters, it’s way more captivating than any five minute, one-take iPhone video of two guys playing on a couch has a right to be.  I also love the singing saw and the way Ryan gets his guitar handed to him mid-song.  It’s like he brought roadies for the couch show.

It also makes me even more bummed that I was out of town for Oryx and Crake’s stripped down set at The Earl back in January.  They should do more of these stripped down performances.  Maybe even a couch tour.
